HEAT EXCHANGERS

In the gas pressure reduction/regulation process, temperature decrease considerably (Joule Thomson Effect), and this can cause damage due to formation of "ice" produced by water wapor in the gas. Natural gas has to be heated before pressure reduction. PGI’s tube bundle heat exchangers can be used with natural gas, air, propane or any other non-corrosive gas for that purpose.

Design pressure can go up to 100-bar depending on the process conditions. PGI's heat exchangers can be built with different inlet and outlet connection sizes and directions for gas and water flows and can be designed according to ASME VIII Div. 1 and TEMA standards.
