FLOW CONDIOTIONING SYSTEMS

All inferential flowmeters are subject to the effects of velocity profiles, swirl and turbulence structures approaching the meter. Many piping configurations and fittings generate disturbances with unknown characteristics.

In reality, multiple piping configurations are assembled in series, generating complex problems for standards-issuing organizations and flow metering engineers. The aim is to minimize the difference between “real” and “fully developed” flow conditions on the selected metering device, thus maintaining the low uncertainty levels required for fiscal applications.

PGI has vast experience in engineering and designing of flow conditioning systems for its customized, fiscal metering stations according to AGA 3/API 14.3 and ISO 5167. Our experience, knowledge and commitment assure our customers expert solutions to all of their flow measurement and metering station requirements.
