ODORATION SYSTEMS

Natural gas is predominantly a mixture of saturated short chain hydrocarbons, mostly methane and ethane, and as such is essentially odorless.

Natural gas shall be treated with a suitable odorant to ensure that gas can be detected by smell. The process of odorizing natural gas involves injecting pure thiol, or a mixture of thiols, in its liquid form, into a pressurized and odorless gas stream.

PGI can build an odorization plant to odorize the gas to by using injection system and pump.
